Mark Ezekiel, MD

Dr. Mark R. Ezekiel is an Interventional Pain Management physician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain.  Dr. Ezekiel is currently in private practice with Advanced Pain Specialists of Southern California, a busy multidisciplinary pain clinic.

Dr. Ezekiel completed an Anesthesiology residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center.  During his residency he was appointed chief resident and received several awards and honors.  Dr. Ezekiel received fellowship training at the Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles.  Dr. Ezekiel is a former Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of California Irvine College of Medicine where he was the Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia.

Dr. Ezekiel has many academic interests.  In addition to lecturing, Dr. Ezekiel has written several book chapters and handbooks, including the popular ‘Handbook of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Ezekiel is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.  Dr. Ezekiel is an active member of numerous professional societies and associations such as the International Spine Intervention Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
