Mark Ezekiel, MD

Dr. Mark R. Ezekiel was an Interventional Pain Management physician specializing in the evaluation and treatment of patients with chronic pain. He completed his Anesthesiology residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. During his residency he was appointed chief resident and received several awards and honors. He received fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. He was also a former Assistant Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of California Irvine College of Medicine where he was the Director of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia.

Dr Ezekiel had many academic interests. In addition to lecturing, he had written several book chapters and handbooks, including the popular “Handbook of Anesthesiology.” He was also a very active member of numerous professional societies and associations such as the International Spine Intervention Society, the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

Dr Ezekiel was a wonderful Doctor. He has touched the lives of his friends, family, colleagues and patient’s. He was an important part of our Advance Pain Specialists of Southern California family and will be missed by all.
